Great Ambassadors

Reyes and Velia have been volunteering with Vista Community Clinic since the early 1990's. This husband and wife pair has volunteered as Board Members and over the years has served on many committees including the Personnel Committee and Finance Committee. Reyes has worked 33 years in law enforcement and Velia is a small business owner. They are very committed to the Clinic's mission. In 2009 they were recognized by North County Philanthropy Council as Vista Community Clinic's "Volunteers of the Year."

Velia says, "We have a very strong need for the clinic in our community. There are so many people, especially lately, who have fallen through the cracks in terms of insurance. Your average person really needs help."
