Cancer Screenings and Treatment

  • Breast Cancer: Clinical breast exams and mammogram referrals are available. Uninsured or underinsured women may qualify for free breast cancer screenings. Please call 1-760-631-5000 for information.
  • Cervical Cancer: Pap smears are available. Many uninsured, low-income women of childbearing age may be eligible for free screenings. For information, please call 1-760-631-5000.
  • Testicular Cancer: Exams are available. Many uninsured, low-income men are eligible for free exams. For information, please call 1-760-631-5000.

Immunizations for Children and Adults

  • Walk-ins welcome at the Wellness Clinic or ask for immunizations during your routine appointment
  • Bring your immunization records to every visit
  • Children under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent. If another individual is bringing the child in for services, a note from the parent giving this individual permission to obtain services for the minor child must be submitted upon check in. The child will not be seen without this parental permission. Guardians must present legal documentation of guardianship. 
  • Flu Shot Clinics are held seasonally or can be obtained at clinic visit while supplies last.

Tuberculin Skin Test (TB):

  • Walk-ins welcome at the Wellness Clinic
  • You must return to have the results read within 48-72 hours after the initial test

HIV Testing and Treatment:

  • Ask for confidential testing during a routine appointment. Standard and rapid tests are available at all of our five clinics.
  • For free, anonymous rapid testing and counseling, contact our HIV Services staff at 1-760-631-5000 x7183
  • If you should discover that you are HIV positive, we will help you to access medical care, special services and support. You will not have to go through this alone.
