Program Name:	HIV Prevention Services for Injection Drug Users and Their Sexual Partners
Description:	The goal of prevention services for Injection Drug Users/Sexual Partners is to reduce the spread of HIV by reducing the frequency of behaviors known to be high risk for the spread of HIV and by strengthening community norms which support lower risk behaviors among the target population.

Program Name:	HIV Counseling and Testing
Description:	The goal of this program is to decrease HIV infection to target populations known through local epidemiological data to be at disproportionate risk for HIV infection. VCC provides outreach, education and on-site HIV rapid testing to all persons. However, the primary target populations are people of color (with an emphasis on African Americans and Latinos), men having sex with men, injection drug users and partners of HIV positive or other high-risk individuals.

Description:

The goal of this program is to provide emotional and peer support and education to monolingual Spanish speaking HIV+ individuals. Services include a support group for the target population, prevention case management and social events.

Program Name:	Mpowerment Project
Description:	The Mpowerment Project is a national model HIV prevention program that is designed to specifically address the needs of young gay and bisexual men. The project mobilizes young gay/bisexual men to shape a healthy community for themselves, build positive social connections, and support their friends to have safer sex. The Mpowerment Project at VCC provides HIV prevention/education to Latino male migrant workers ages 18 to 30 with an emphasis on stigma reduction related to HIV and homosexuality.

Program Name:	HIV Case Management
Description:	Case Management services for persons infected with HIV. Link to specialty care & appropriate resources as needed. Assist with obtaining medications.

Program Name:	Ryan White Outreach Services
Description:	The goals of Outreach Services is to remove or reduce barriers, such as language, cultural and economic issues, and improve access for under-served communities to use HIV care and treatment services by bringing individuals from these communities into the system of care. Services include providing culturally and linguistically sensitive HIV/AIDS information and referrals.

Program Name:	New Hope
Description:	The goal of this program is to provide emotional and peer support and education to a disenfranchised population of multicultural HIV positive individuals. Services include a support group for the target population, risk reduction materials distribution, social marketing campaign, and peer advocacy training.

Description:	The goal of the program is to provide HIV education and prevention services for high-risk positives and high-risk negatives. VCC provides outreach, Comprehensive Risk Couinseling and Services (one-on-one risk reduction counseling), Group Level Interventions (multi-session educatinoal groups), and Health Communication Public Information (community events).

Program Name:	HIV Integration
Description:	The goal of the program is to implement HIV testing and related services for all adult and adolescent VCC patients at all VCC clinic sites for family planning services and preventive health care in order to foster earlier detection of HIV infection; identify and counsel persons with unrecognized HIV infection; and link them to clinical and prevention services.
