Program Name: |
Hombres Sanos Project |
Description: |
The goal of Hombres Sanos is to increase the number of Latino men who access male health exams. The male health exam includes the following: examination of the eyes, ears, nose and mouth, heart and lungs, and abdomen. Men participating in this program also receive a comprehensive reproductive exam which includes testing for HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and will receive 30 condoms. In addition, program participants will be screened for anemia, diabetes, and cholesterol. The program is free for income eligible participants. |

We offer many birth control options, including abstinence, birth control pills, diaphragm, Depo-Provera, NUVA Ring, ORTHO Evra Patch, IUD and condoms. We also offer emergency contraception. Our health educators are trained to help you select the method that is right for you. |
