Tdap Vaccine Required for School Entry
As of July 1, 2011, a change in school law requires students in grades 7-12 to be immunized with the Tdap vaccine. This vaccine includes Tetanus, Diptheria and Pertussis (whooping cough). Students will not be allowed to attend school in the fall if they are not up to date with their immunizations.

Tdap Vaccine Costs
- Sliding fee scale. Fees for self pay patients are determined according to family size and income.
- Healthy Families / Medi-Cal: Free if VCC is your provider
- Private Insurances: Depends on your coverage*. VCC must be listed as your provider.
*If your insurance doesn't cover Tdap, you may still be eligible for a free program. Please call. If you are not eligible, the full cost of the vaccine is $53.
