Reproductive health care is defined as the constellation of methods, techniques, and services that contribute to reproductive health and well-being by preventing and solving reproductive health problems. It also includes sexual health, the purpose of which is the enhancement of life and personal relations, and not merely counseling and care related to reproduction and sexually transmitted infections.

Cervical Cancer:
Screening for cervical cancer consists of a pap smear, an examination of cells scraped from the cervix. If the results indicate an abnormality, referrals are made to specialists for follow up evaluation and treatment. Pap smears are often free of charge as part of our HAP program examination. To find out if you qualify for HAP, call our appointment line at 760-631-5000.
Testicular Cancer:
Men at highest risk for testicular cancer are those in the age range of 15-34, although men of any age can be at risk. If an abnormal lump is present, see a health care professional right away for an examination. For men who qualify for HAP, an exam can be performed at the Vista Community Clinic free of charge. To find out if you qualify for HAP, call our appointment line at 760-631-5000.
