Biography

Dr. Stenzel joined the VCC team in 2010 after relocating from Texas. Having worked at community clinics in the past, she enjoys both the setting and the dynamic team at VCC. Dr. Stenzel has practiced family medicine throughout the US, including Texas, Illinois and North Carolina. With a twenty-year career as a family physician, she also has taught at Duke University School of Medicine, in addition to precepting family medicine residents. Dr. Stenzel is committed to helping her patients to live happier, healthier and more functional lives.

“I educate them about healthy habits and behaviors. I also help them identify what they can do to improve their health, and what choices hold them back from improving their health.”
