Biography

Michelle Monroe joined VCC in 2011 because she wanted to be part of a health care organization that’s seen as a leader among community clinics. She was named  Chief Operations Officer at VCC in 2015. Prior to coming to VCC, she worked as Revenue Cycle Manager and Director of Rural Clinic Services for a Critical Access Hospital in Lake Arrowhead.

Over the course of Ms. Monroe’s career, she’s become a leader in planning, problem solving, and improving clinic-wide operations to better serve patients. She has provided vital education and resources to front office staff to provide better customer service to our patients. Ms. Monroe is inspired by her desire to contribute to providing quality health care options to patients who have limited resources.
