Dr. Emily Tam is a compassionate optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, from children to seniors. She is experienced in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, dry eye, and contact lens–related issues.
Dr. Tam completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern California College of Optometry and received advanced clinical training through the VA San Diego Healthcare System, where she cared for patients with complex ocular conditions. She has worked in both private practice and medical optometry settings, providing primary eye care, disease management, and pre- and post-operative care.
She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Mandarin and conversational in Cantonese. Dr. Tam is committed to patient education and believes in partnering with patients to protect and maintain lifelong vision health.
