Dr. Kathia Albanez is a bilingual optometrist providing comprehensive eye care with a focus on patient comfort, education, and long-term vision health. She offers services to patients of all ages, including primary eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of eye diseases.
Dr. Albanez earned her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University and completed a residency in Primary Eye Care and Ocular Disease at the Jennifer Moreno VA Medical Center in San Diego. She has special experience in caring for patients with complex eye conditions, as well as those with low vision or traumatic brain injury.
With a passion for serving diverse communities, Dr. Albanez provides care in both English and Spanish. Her background includes work in hospital, public health, and private practice settings, allowing her to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs.
