Board Certified, Dr. Dao has been a practicing hospitalist for 17 years and is now transitioning into doing clinic work. He’s excited for the move into clinic care because he is interested in taking care of patients outside of the hospital setting and focusing on prevention. Dr. Dao is looking forward to the opportunity to provide care for community residents that are seeking care for themselves. Dr. Dao enjoys having discussions with patients on things to do to improve their health, and had a big focus on utilizing early detection tools for medical problems, like cancer and diabetes. But he also puts equal attention on other stressors in life, such as depression or a lack of social support. Dr. Dao cares about the progression of his patients and is great at following up with them to see how they are doing long term. As a hospitalist, Dr. Dao is very familiar with caring for the underserved community and enjoys bringing his expertise for the families and individuals that need it most.
