Naya Player is a compassionate Associate Clinical Social Worker who brings extensive experience in mental health support, crisis intervention, hospice and palliative care, and community-based services. She is dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and feel supported through life’s challenges.
Naya has worked with diverse populations across multiple settings, including foster youth, caregivers, families, and individuals experiencing housing instability. Her clinical approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy. She is skilled in psychosocial assessments, therapeutic interventions, bereavement support, and connecting clients with essential community resources.
At VCC, Naya facilitates prevention and education groups focused on mental wellness, empowerment, and skill-building. She is committed to creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward.
