Michele Lambert

Chief Financial Officer

Biography

Michele Lambert joined the VCC team in 2005, out of a desire to put her corporate knowledge base and skillset to work for a service-based organization. She holds an MBA from San Diego State University and has maintained positions in the service and manufacturing industries as CFO and Vice President Finance/Controller. Her strong skills in finance, accounting, and business strategy make her a vital member of the VCC team. Ms. Lambert’s achievements at VCC include assisting the organization to become the first Community Health Center in San Diego to implement Electronic Health Records as well as securing one of only 80 National Facility Improvement Grants under the Federal Recovery Act Program.

At VCC, Ms. Lambert oversees finance, accounting, revenue cycle, and facilities for our twelve-site healthcare organization. She works with the CEO to set the organization’s financial goals and direction, and ensures accurate financial reporting and governmental compliance. She’s inspired in her work with VCC by being able to help those who may not have the resources to access the services that some of us take for granted. Ms. Lambert believes that, despite one’s background, all people should be treated with the same level of respect and have access to the same high level of care.
