Love Your Heart This February and Join Free Heart Health Events with VCC
February is Heart Health Month, and VCC is joining Live Well San Diego’s Love Your Heart Campaign in an effort to bring the community together for a series of free, walk-in events offering blood pressure screenings and heart health information for people of all ages.
High blood pressure often develops without symptoms, which is why regular screenings are so important for preventing heart disease and stroke. Our Love Your Heart events make it easy to get checked, ask questions, and learn what your numbers mean in a welcoming, supportive setting.
At each Love Your Heart event, you’ll receive:
- Free blood pressure screenings
- Free Blood Pressure Monitors (until supplies last)
- Friendly health education and resources
- Guidance on interpreting your numbers
- Connections to community health services
Whether you’re checking your blood pressure for the first time, managing a health condition, or just curious, these events are open to everyone, no appointment needed.

Checking your numbers regularly is one of the most important steps you can take for long-term health. These events are designed to be convenient, friendly, and educational, and best of all, they’re free to attend!
Whether you attend one event or all of them, we hope you’ll take a few minutes this February to learn more about your heart health and connect with community health resources. From preventive screenings to ongoing care, VCC is here to support your health journey at every age.
